Golden Triangle With Rajasthan

The India Golden Triangle is a popular tourist route that covers three cities: Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. These cities are rich in history, culture, and architecture, and offer a glimpse of the diversity and beauty of India. Here are some short tour details about the Tour combined with major parts of Rajasthan.

Delhi: The capital of India and a city of contrasts, where ancient monuments and modern skyscrapers coexist. You can explore the Old Delhi area, where you can visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India1, see the impressive Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site1. The New Delhi area, where you can see the India Gate, a war memorial, the Rashtrapati Bhavan, and the Qutub Minar, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and the tallest brick minaret in the world.

Agra: The city of love and home to the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a symbol of eternal romance. You can admire the stunning white marble mausoleum, built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. You can also visit the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and a massive red sandstone fortress that was the seat of power of the Mughal Empire. You can also explore the Fatehpur Sikri, a ghost town that was once the capital of Emperor Akbar.

Jaipur: The capital of Rajasthan and the “Pink City”, named after the color of its buildings. You can visit the Amber Fort, a majestic hilltop palace that showcases the fusion of Hindu and Muslim architecture3. You can also see the City Palace, a complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings that reflects the royal heritage of Jaipur3. You can also marvel at the Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Winds, a five-story structure with 953 windows that was built for the royal ladies to observe the street life without being seen.

Jodhpur: Jodhpur, the second largest city in Rajasthan is popularly known as the Blue City. The name is clearly befitting as most of the architecture - forts, palaces, temples, havelis and even houses are built in vivid shades of blue. The strapping forts that tower this magnificent city sum up to a spectacle you would not want to miss.

Udaipur: Often referred to as the 'Venice of the East', the city of lakes Udaipur is located around azure water lakes and is hemmed in by lush green hills of Aravallis. The famous Lake Palace, located in the middle of Lake Pichola is one of the most beautiful sights of Udaipur. It is also home to Jaisamand Lake, claimed to be the second largest man-made sweet water lake in Asia.

Pushkar : The picturesque Pushkar is set in a valley just about 14 km off Ajmer. Surrounded by hills on three sides and sand dunes on the other, Pushkar forms a fascinating location and a befitting backdrop for the annual religious and cattle fair
