Golden Triangle With Mumbai & Goa

Golden Triangle With Mumbai & Goa

The India Golden Triangle is a popular tourist route that covers three cities: Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. These cities are rich in history, culture, and architecture, and offer a glimpse of the diversity and beauty of India. Here are some short tour details about the India Golden Triangle:

Delhi: The capital of India and a city of contrasts, where ancient monuments and modern skyscrapers coexist. You can explore the Old Delhi area, where you can visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India1, take a rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes and bazaars, and see the impressive Red Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site1. You can also visit the New Delhi area, where you can see the India Gate, a war memorial1, the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the president1, and the Qutub Minar, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and the tallest brick minaret in the world.

Agra: The city of love and home to the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a symbol of eternal romance. You can admire the stunning white marble mausoleum, built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. You can also visit the Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and a massive red sandstone fortress that was the seat of power of the Mughal Empire. You can also explore the Fatehpur Sikri, a ghost town that was once the capital of Emperor Akbar.

Jaipur: The capital of Rajasthan and the “Pink City”, named after the color of its buildings. You can visit the Amber Fort, a majestic hilltop palace that showcases the fusion of Hindu and Muslim architecture3. You can also see the City Palace, a complex of courtyards, gardens, and buildings that reflects the royal heritage of Jaipur3. You can also marvel at the Hawa Mahal, or the Palace of Winds, a five-story structure with 953 windows that was built for the royal ladies to observe the street life without being seen.

Mumbai: Mumbai is a densely populated city on India's west coast. A financial center, it's India's largest city. On the Mumbai Harbour waterfront stands the iconic Gateway of India stone arch, built by the British Raj in 1924. Offshore, nearby Elephanta Island holds ancient cave temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The city's also famous as the heart of the Bollywood film industry.

Goa: Goa is a state in western India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian Sea. Goa is known for its beaches, ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda. Goa can be the perfect destination for a short holiday.
