Itinerary

Day 01 :  COLOMBO - AHUNGALLA

On arrival at the airport, you will be met by a representative and directly transferred to Ahungalla , Approx. 2 hrs drive,  Check-in to hotel , Dinner & Overnight stay at Heritance Ahungalla or similar.

Day 02: Ahungalla 

After breakfast at the hotel , Full day for Leisure, Dinner & Overnight stay at Heritance Ahungalla or similar.

Day 03 : Ahungalla – Galle 

After breakfast at the hotel transfer to Galle, Approx. 1 hr. drive , Enjoy a city tour of Galle.

 The Galle Fort, or Dutch Fort as it is also known, is a fortification first built by the Portuguese on the Southwestern coast of Sri Lanka. The initial fortifications, which were built in the late 16th century, were quite basic. However, the fort underwent extensive modifications in the 17th century by the Dutch, making it one of the most important archeological, architectural and historic monuments to illutrate the European influence in South East Asia between the 16th and 19th centuries. According to a statement by UNESCO the site was recognized as a World Heritage Site for its unique exposition of an urban ensemble which illustrates the interaction of European architecture and South Asian traditions from the 16th to the 19th centuries which is the criterion number four for such recognition. Thereafter transfer & check in to hotel

Day 04: galle 

After breakfast at the hotel, Full day for Leisure , Dinner & Overnight stay at Jetwing Lighthouse or similar (Luxury)

Day 05 : Galle – Yala 

After breakfast at the hotel transfer to Yala, Approx. 2 ¾ hrs. drive , Enjoy afternoon Safari at Yala national Park

 Yala National Park is the most popular wildlife destination in Sri Lanka because of the high chance of encounter and variety of animals. Its diversity of bird, mammal and reptile life is unrivalled in the country and there are particularly high densities of its two keystone species: elephants and leopards. Current estimates suggest there are around 70 leopards and, as the apex predator in the park, they’re top cat here so less fearful than in countries like Africa where lions rule the roost. This means you’re more likely to see a leopard here than anywhere else in the world. Transfer & check in to hotel , Dinner & Overnight stay at Jetwing Yala or similar.

Day 06 : Yala – Ella 

After Breakfast at hotel transfer to Ella, Approx. 2 ½ hrs. drive , Thereafter you will be transferred to Nine Arch Bridge

 The Nine Arch Bridge also called the Bridge in the Sky, is a viaduct bridge in Sri Lanka. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country.

 Thereafter transfer to Ravana Falls, Approx. 20 mins drive , Ravana Falls - A nice waterfall of 90m altitude close to the road from Ella to Wellawaya about 6km south from Ela. The stream, a tributary of Kirindi Oya plunges with a foaming spray over a series of ledges into the valley close to a road bend. The waters rise from Wewatenns highland above the rocks (1050m NN). In general, the rocky underground of the waterfalls in Sri Lanka consists of hard gneiss or granite, but here the metetiel is khondalite, a kind of limestone which undergoes decay faster. Thus, there are caves near the falls. Ravana of Ramayana legend is said to have lived none of the caves above the water falls. DAY 07 : ELLA - KANDY

After Breakfast at hotel transfer to Kandy, Approx. 4 hrs. drive , Visit a spice garden , Thereafter transfer & check in to hotel , Dinner & Overnight stay at Cinnamon Citadel or similar

DAY 08 : KANDY - NEGOMBO

After Breakfast at hotel Visit Kandy temple of tooth relic , Temple of the Tooth Relic- which houses the Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha, is an important landmark in Kandy. The Tooth is kept in a two-storey shrine fronted by two large elephant tusks and rests on a gold lotus flower, encased in jeweled casket that sits on a throne. The temple is decorated with beautiful local paintings and architectural features. Transfer to Negombo & Check in to hotel , Dinner & Overnight stay at Blue or similar.

DAY 09 : KANDY – AIRPORT

After breakfast at the hotel leave to Airport, Approx. 20 mins drive , According to flight details, transfer to the airport for your departure flight back home.
