Itinerary

Day 1   Kochi 

Welcome to Kochi, popularly known as “THE QUEEN OF ARABIAN SEA”. On arrival at the Kochi international airport start your journey to the hotel in Kochi. Check-in into the hotel and relax. One may go explore the local markets of Kochi for a little souvenir quest. 


Day 2   Kochi to Munnar 

Relish delicious breakfast at the hotel and check-out from Hotel to explore a few nearby tourist attractions of Kochi. Visit the Mattancherry Dutch Palace - (closed on Fridays and public holidays), which was built by the Portuguese in 1555 and renovated by the Dutch in 1663. Visit the Jewish Synagogue (closed on all Saturdays and Jewish holidays), Visit St. Francis Church - (closed on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs) the oldest European Church in India, See the Chinese Fishing Nets, along the tip of Fort Cochin unique to this part of Kerala and living symbols of a centuries-old Chinese influence on this coast. After Fort Kochi sightseeing proceed to Marine drive by local ferry & India’s first Water Metro. Tea / Coffee break at Marine drive.

The hill station of Munnar. Cosseted by lush greeneries, guarded by captivating hills and mountains, and fringed with never-ending tea plantations, Munnar is also known as the ‘Nature Lover’s Paradise’ and will surely hold you captive throughout your stay. On the way stopover for Tea / Coffee break & later visit Cheeyappara Waterfalls & Valara Waterfalls. Arriving in this hilly retreat, you will be checked-in to a hotel.

Day 3   Munnar

After breakfast, explore Eravikulam National Park and Tea Museum. Later visit Mattupetty Dam, Eco Point and Flower Garden. 

Overnight in Munnar.


Day 4   Munnar - Thekkady 

After breakfast, drive to Thekkady (Periyar). Post check-in, proceed for sightseeing tour of Periyar. Set high in the ranges of the Western Ghats in Kerala, is the Periyar National Park and Tiger Reserve. Periyar wildlife sanctuary has a picturesque lake at the heart of the sanctuary. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake to view the wildlife at close quarters. Later, take a spice plantation tour.

Overnight in Thekkady.


Day 5   Thekkady – Kumarakom

After breakfast get transferred to Kumarakom. The fresh water of the lake flows into the mainland, making a labyrinth of lagoons, canals and waterways. Spend the rest of the day exploring your beautiful resort of Kumarakom.

Day 6   Kumarakom 

Today, enjoy your visit to Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. Also, you may want to indulge yourself with some Ayurveda treatments in your hotel (On direct-payment basis).

Day 7   Kumarakom - Alleppey 

After breakfast, drive to Alleppey and board your houseboat on arrival. ruise through the beautiful and scenic backwaters of Kerala, while you stay in houseboat.

Day 8   Alleppey – Kovalam 

After breakfast, drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure. 

Overnight in Kovalam.


DAY 9   Kovalam & Trivandrum 

After breakfast, explore highlights of Kovalam- covering lighthouse, Vellayani Lake and Valiyathura Pier. Afternoon, enjoy a half-day sightseeing trip of Trivandrum. Visit the Napier Museum, the Shree Chitra Kala Art Gallery and the Kuthiramalika Palace. Overnight stay in Kovalam.


Day 10   Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam 

Today, enjoy a full day excursion to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is the meeting point of three oceans-the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Visit the Kumari Amman or the Kanyakumari Temple, located on the shore. Visit the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Also visit the Gandhi Memorial, built on the spot where the urn containing the Mahatma's ashes was kept for public viewing before immersion. 

Return to Kovalam for an overnight stay.


Day 11   Kovalam – Trivandrum 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Trivandrum airport for return flight back home.
