Victoria Peak,

Until you have seen the Hong Kong skyline from the top of Victoria Peak, you have not seen the best in Hong Kong. To view the harbour, bustling city, the 

adjacent islands, and the skyscrapers, you must ride the tram to the top of this viewpoint. 

Near the Hong Kong Park is situated the entrance of the tram from where the place can be visited. Peak Galleria and Peak Tower are at the top of the tram where tourists can enjoy restaurants, shops, nature trails, and the observation decks. 

The best time to visit the place is during the evening when the lit skyline can be seen against the dark night sky which serves to be one of the finest views in Hong Kong. 

 

Star Ferry

Star Ferry is not known for the fastest mode of transportation, but it is the most scenic way to cross the Victoria Harbour. Serving its tourists with the 10 minutes long crossing since 1880, the Star Ferry gives unbelievable views of the skyline.  The best time to ride the Star Ferry is around sunset to witness the sound and light show as well.


Lamma Island

A 20-minutes ride away from the city in a ferry to the Lamma Island is a place tourists love. Well-known for restaurants for delicious seafood and relaxing 

atmosphere, Lamma is a perfect place to explore and unwind. These eccentric shops and untwisting streets can lead you to the pristine beaches or the Shek Pai Beach which are worth exploring.  


Tian Tan Buddha

Tian Tan Buddha, also known as Big Buddha, is the biggest attraction of Hong Kong which stands 34 meters above the Po Lin Monastery. This statue in Lantau Island invites a large number of tourists from around the world who can ride up in a cable car to view the stunning mountainous views. 

Best time to travel to Hong Kong

Even though Hong Kong is a destination that can be visited all year round, the ideal time to visit it is autumn and early winter, particularly from September to December. The temperatures, weather, and outdoor activities make these months the perfect time for travel.
