Tanzania is a country in East Africa that is known for its diverse wildlife, natural beauty, and rich culture. Tanzania is home to the largest concentration of wildlife per square kilometer in the world, with over 4 million wild animals and 430 species and subspecies. Tanzania has 16 national parks, 29 game reserves, 40 controlled conservation areas, and marine parks. Some of the attractions of Tanzania include:

  • Arusha National Park is a beautiful and diverse park in northern Tanzania, near the city of Arusha. The park is home to many wildlife species, including the world’s largest population of giraffes, as well as buffaloes, zebras, elephants, monkeys, flamingos, and more. 
  • Lake Manyara is a lake located in the Arusha and Manyara Regions of Tanzania. It is the seventh-largest lake in the country by surface area, covering about 470 square kilometers. The lake is famous for its diverse wildlife, especially its large population of flamingos and other water birds. It is also home to many mammals, such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, and the rare tree-climbing lions.
  • Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa and one of the Seven Summits of the world.
  • Lake Tanganyika, the second deepest lake in the world and home to many endemic species of fish.
  • Serengeti National Park, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and other animals migrate annually in a spectacular phenomenon known as the Great Migration.
  • Zanzibar, an island off the coast of Tanzania that has a history of spice trade, slave trade, and Swahili culture. It is also famous for its white sandy beaches and coral reefs.
  • Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that contains the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world and hosts a variety of wildlife, including the endangered black rhinoceros.
  • Tarangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania’s Manyara Region. It is famous for its large herds of elephants and baobab trees. Enjoying the scenic views of the lake, the rift valley escarpment, and the nearby mountains of Meru and Kilimanjaro

Itinerary

Day 1   Arrive Kilimanjaro – Lake Manyara National Park

On arrival at the airport, meet our expert guide. As you are transferred to Manyara. Lunch. Afternoon game drive. Overnight in Manyara.


Day 2   Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for the Central Serengeti. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park. This park is world famous for one of the most impressive natural events in the world – the annual migration of over two million herbivores (wildebeest, gazelles and zebras), across the mighty plains of East Africa in search of new grazing lands and water holes.


Day 3   Serengeti National Park 

After breakfast, a full day game drive in Serengeti. Overnight in Serengeti


Day 4   Ngorongoro Conservation Area 

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro. Arrive for lunch. Afternoon spend at leisure. Overnight in Ngorongoro Conservation area.


Day 5   Ngorongoro Conservation Area 

Morning descend down the crater for an enchanting game viewing drive with packed lunch. Known as ‘the eighth wonder of the world' the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's best-known wildlife arenas. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it offers a unique biosphere, which has remained virtually unchanged since the dawn of time. Deep within the Crater, enclosed by towering walls, some 25,000 large mammals wander the plains, lakes and forests of ‘the land that time forgot', dominated by enormous bull elephants, rhinos and lions. Overnight in Ngorongoro Conservation area.

 

Day 6   Lake Natron 

After breakfast, drive to Lake Natron. Arrive and check in at your lodge followed by lunch then visit to Masai village.


DAY 7  Lake Natron 

After breakfast, Walking game drive to see flamingos. After breakfast trek to waterfalls then at night after dinner start to Climb Ol Doinyo Lengai. Overnight in Lake Natron.


DAY 8  Departure: Kilimanjaro airport

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro airport for your departure international flight back home.
