Kenya is a country in East Africa that is known for its scenic landscapes and diverse wildlife. Some of the attractions in Kenya include the Great Rift Valley, Mount Kenya, Lake Victoria, and the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Kenya is also a member of the African Union and has a unitary presidential republic form of government. places to visit in Kenya are:

  • Nairobi: The Nairobi National Park, which is the only wildlife park in the world that is situated within a city. It is the home to a variety of animals, such as lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. The Giraffe Centre, which is a conservation and education centre that aims to protect the endangered Rothschild's giraffe. Visitors can feed and interact with the giraffes, and learn more about their biology and ecology.
  • Mt. Kenya Region: The Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a biosphere reserve. It offers opportunities for hiking, climbing, camping, and wildlife viewing. The park has diverse habitats, such as bamboo forests, waterfalls, caves, and swamps. It is home to many animals, such as elephants, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, and rhinos.
  • Samburu: The Samburu National Reserve, which is located in the arid and rugged northern region of Kenya. Samburu is home to some rare and unique animals, such as the Grevy’s zebra, the reticulated giraffe, the gerenuk, and the Somali ostrich.
  • Lake Nakuru: The Lake Nakuru National Park, which is famous for its millions of flamingos that create a pink hue on the lake. Lake Nakuru also has a diverse range of other birds, such as pelicans, storks, and eagles, as well as mammals, such as rhinos, baboons, and warthogs.
  • Masai Mara: The Masai Mara National Reserve, which is the most famous and visited safari destination in Kenya. It is home to the great wildebeest migration, which is one of the most spectacular natural phenomena in the world. The Masai Mara also has a high concentration of predators, such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Itinerary

Day 1   Nairobi

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi. You will be met by representative after clearing with immigration formalities and transferred to your city hotel where you are briefed about your safari. Overnight at Nairobi


Day 2   Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, drive to Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive for lunch at your lodge/camp.

Samburu National Reserve, The tranquil Uaso Nyiro River, flowing through Shaba and Samburu, attract a wide number of rare wildlife and provides a natural habitat for crocodile. Long necked gerenuk, Gravy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe are species not found in the less arid areas to the south. Elephant seek solace and contentment in the shallow waters of this wide sauntering river, fringed with acacia, doum palms and tamarind, which together with Buffalo Springs; support a large variety of African mammals, cheetah and leopard being particularly well represented. The Reserve has its own indigenous wildlife unique to the region including the gerenuk, Somali ostrich and the endangered grey’s zebra. Enjoy an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge at sunset. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve. All meals and Overnight at Samburu


Day 4   Samburu - Ol Pejeta   

After breakfast, drive to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary arriving in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. A sheltered oasis, clustered around a water hole and set in the pristine calm of the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sweetwaters Tented Camp offers a charming blend of under-canvas ambiance and safari luxury.

Afternoon game drives - cum - visit to the rescued chimpanzees’- and black rhino’s sanctuaries. The beautiful Sweetwaters Tented Camp lies in the heart of this privately owned 24,000 acre ranch with magnificent views across the wildlife- studded plains to the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kenya. Host to all the members of the ‘Big Five' (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard), the conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is at the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programme. The conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species. Dinner and overnight at OlPejeta


Day 5   Ol Pejeta – Lake Naivasha / Elementaita 

After breakfast drive to Lake Naivasha/Elementaita where you will arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure

Day 6   Lake Naivasha/Elementaita – Masai Mara Game Reserve 

Breakfast will be served at the Lodge. After breakfast, drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and check in at the camp. In the afternoon, enjoy an enthralling game-viewing drive (1600-1800Hrs). Spotting lions, cheetahs and other spectacular predators is the highlight of your day. This evening, enjoy a sumptuous dinner at your lodge. Dinner and Overnight at Masai Mara


DAY 7   Full day of game-viewing! 

After breakfast, proceed on a full-day game-viewing drive (0700-1530Hrs) with picnic Lunch to search for the myriad species of game that make this reserve their home. If you are lucky, you can witness the kill in action, moment by moment, right in front of your unbelieving eyes! You can expect to see the famous 'Big 5'. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner at your lodge. All meals and Overnight at Masai Mara


DAY 8   Depart

After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, stopping over at the Rift Valley view point. Transfer to JKIA for your flight.
